Bauerfeind LordoLoc is a back brace that stabilizes and relieves the lower back. Anatomically shaped spring-steel stays work together with tension straps that you tighten yourself as needed.

  • Spring-steel stays that help straighten the lower back
  • Tension straps - you decide how much stabilization your back needs
  • Encloses and supports the entire torso
  • Elastic yet firm material that stimulates the stabilizing muscles
  • Thin and lightweight - barely visible under clothing
  • Six sizes

Stabilization and relief of the lower back

Bauerfeind LordoLoc is a medical orthosis with tension straps for stabilizing and relieving the lower back. According to the instructions for use, it is used for general lower back pain, both acute and chronic, as well as moderate degeneration or muscular insufficiency of the spine.

Spring steel stays and tension straps

The back section contains several narrow, anatomically shaped spring steel stays that help straighten the lower back - according to Bauerfeind, this relieves pain and releases tension. At the same time, the orthosis envelops the torso and supports the entire trunk system. The material is elastic but comfortably firm, provides slight resistance during movement, and stimulates the stabilizing muscles.

With the tension straps, you decide how much stabilization your back needs, and they can be adjusted at any time while you are wearing the orthosis.

Important to know

According to the instructions for use, LordoLoc should be used as directed by a doctor, fitted to the individual patient by qualified personnel, and worn over a T-shirt or undershirt. The stays can be adjusted by qualified personnel if necessary.

Material composition according to the manufacturer: stainless steel, polyamide (PA), polyurethane (PUR), cotton (CO), polyethylene (PE), elastane (EL), viscose (CV), polyester (PES), and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).

LordoLoc is available in Titan and in six sizes. Choose the size according to your body circumference using the size guide:

Use

Place the orthosis around your body so that the stays are centered on your back and the pull straps are positioned at the top. Insert your fingers into the hand loops on both sides of the closure and pull the orthosis forward with even force. Press the left half of the closure against your abdomen and pull the right half across until the hook-and-loop fastener can be closed.

Then pull both ends of the upper strap forward, check how tightly they need to be tightened, and fasten them. Make sure that the entire hook-and-loop surface attaches to the orthosis so that it does not come into contact with clothing or skin.

Care

Close the hook-and-loop fastener before washing. Use mild detergent and a laundry bag, follow the information on the sewn-in label, and do not expose the orthosis to direct heat or cold.

In the package

One (1) back orthosis in the selected size.
