Relief and stability for the elbow
Bauerfeind EpiTrain is a medical support brace that relieves and stabilizes the elbow joint. According to the instructions for use, it is used for irritation following an injury or surgery, such as epicondylitis, for osteoarthritis and arthritis, for diseases of the tendons and muscle tendons, and for preventive purposes. Bauerfeind mentions tennis elbow as a typical example.
Two pads with massage nodules
The support contains two pads - one on the inside of the joint and one on the outside. The massage nodules provide localized relief along the muscles and tendon attachments, while special recesses around the bony prominences of the elbow prevent uncomfortable pressure and help position the support correctly.
According to Bauerfeind, the support promotes circulation through constantly alternating compression massage and helps reduce edema and bruising. According to the manufacturer, it relieves pain, improves elbow mobility, and allows movement exercises to begin early.
Materials and comfort
The Train knit is breathable and has an extra-soft zone in the crook of the arm. The edges are designed not to constrict.
Material composition according to the manufacturer: styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene block copolymer (TPS-SEBS), polyamide (PA), elastane (EL), cotton (CO), polyurethane (PUR), and polyester (PES).
